Hormone Imbalance Inhibits Weight Loss(even if your doctor says all is normal)
1 in 3 women are being negatively affected by hormone imbalances.
This can affect all areas of your life including weight gain, fatigue and bad sleep quality. The symptoms are often misdiagnosed. Doctors often suggest “it’s all in your mind” and offer mind-bending drugs. You don’t want to go there…
I understand that some ladies might be thinking, “what would you know about this, you’re a male!”
And I would say, Yes, you’re 100% correct. I had no clue about how many of you were suffering from this. That was until a good friend of mine was affected by this terrible situation. I thought she was going crazy. I felt powerless to help her. Believe me, I tried, but nothing seemed to help much.
Doctors couldn’t find any issues. It was like she was possessed. She gained weight, which she hated and it made her depressed. She couldn’t sleep well and that really added to the problem. And boy was she emotional. Moody, very moody. One minute she could be okay and talking normally, the next, anger took over and nothing we said was acceptable to her.
But I felt I had to try and help her. I do a lot of research about weight loss and related subjects anyway, so I looked for answers.
It took me a while, but I eventually stumbled onto a lady called Ange who seemed to have the answers we needed. Apparently, she went through hell herself and no one could help her. Doctors had no helpful answers.
She finally solved the puzzle herself after much trial and error and documented everything. You can find out about that from the free report I mentioned at the beginning of the episode. I’ll also put a link in the show notes on the Weightloss Mindset site.
I introduced my friend to Ange and slowly but surely she improved. It wasn’t an instant fix–nothing meaningful ever is. But she got better and better without medication. I’m happy for her… and me! Those mood swings were terrifying!
Many people don’t actually realize how much hormones can affect the way we feel and how our bodies function. That applies to males too, just in different ways. Hormones control many body functions! There’s one I’m sure you’ve heard of called cortisol, the stress hormone. It’s an important hormone for the body just like all hormones, but when we get high levels of it, we get huge problems. Excessive weight gain is a major one.
Hormones control how quickly we burn calories, our libido, acne, hair loss, weight, moods, and a lot more.
When we experience an imbalance, it can lead to symptoms that feel like depression, iron or other deficiencies, exhaustion, fatigue, and poor health.
They must be in the right balance to function properly. Much like a car. If you put the wrong gas or oil in your car, it doesn’t run well. It’ll break down eventually.
I’m sure we’ve all heard that a thyroid imbalance can cause weight gain and other problems. But there are two other imbalances that maybe you aren’t aware of.
One is Adrenal Imbalance.
There are two adrenal glands. Hormones are released that are necessary for us to live. Some hormones aren’t essential, but they’re still important, of course, and affect our health.
Let’s take a look at some of the key symptoms for too little or too much adrenal hormone.
If you have some of these symptoms, it’s possible that your adrenal glands are not working as well as they should.
Here are the symptoms of too little Adrenal Hormone.
Exhausted no matter how much sleep you get
Burn Out Using stimulants to stay awake
Feeling negative most of the time
Feeling irrational
Crying over things you wouldn’t normally cry over
Feeling emotionally fragile
Low blood pressure
Feeling dizzy when you stand up from lying down
Frequent infections or illness
Low blood sugar
Craving salty foods
Nausea
Diarrhea or constipation
You have insomnia and can’t stay asleep
These are the symptoms of too much Adrenal Hormone.
Struggling to get to sleep even though you’re tired
Craving sugar particularly after a meal
Carrying extra weight around your middle
Feeling bloated
Eczema, thin skin or other skin conditions
Feels like your heart is racing
High blood pressure
Shakiness between meals
Acid reflux
Pink or purple stretch marks on your belly or back
Irregular menstrual cycles
Anxiety
Irritability or just don’t feel like yourself
Having trouble falling pregnant
Craving carbs
As you can see, hormones can completely change how you feel.
The second one you may not be aware of is Sex Hormone Imbalance
“Sex” hormone might not be what you first think about.
Side effects of this kind of imbalance include acne continuing a long time after puberty, mood swings, facial hair and a swollen belly!
The symptoms are more physical and visual with this imbalance, and they affect your fertility.
The Symptoms of Estrogen Dominance are:
Abdominal bloating Swollen and/or tender breasts
Low libido
Irregular menstrual periods
Headaches
Mood swings
Lumpy breasts
Weight gain
Hair loss
Cold hands or feet
Fatigue
Have trouble sleeping or insomnia
Forgetful
Anxious or irritable
Difficulty falling pregnant
If you find that you’re experiencing a number of these symptoms, it’s time to take a closer look.
The best thing is, there are natural ways to control and manage your hormones so you feel healthy again. Thanks to the lady Ange I told you about.
Some health issues are very easy to diagnose and fix. The treatment is quite clear. The same with most infections. Even diseases such as cancer and diabetes can be discovered through symptoms and tests.
But hormones are different.
If your hormones are off, you might experience many symptoms that can be misdiagnosed. We don’t have a clear “hormone level” the way we have a safe blood sugar range.
There are symptoms and tests, but surprisingly many doctors don’t even check. Even if they do, they’ll probably just prescribe medication anyway. As we know, that usually just handles the symptoms, not the cause.
Diet greatly affects our hormones, so we have a natural way to manage them.
Some final thoughts…
I hope that if you’re suffering from any of the symptoms mentioned here that you will find a solution. Try Ange’s methods mentioned in the free report.
You really don’t need to continue suffering. If you have any unexplained condition or symptoms, it could be hormones.
I would love for you to be healthy, happy and enjoying your life just like my friend’s doing now. She recently got married and is now expecting her first baby.
Give it all you’ve got!
