More on Creating a Powerful Vision To Lose Weight(even if you believe it'll never work)

In the last episode we looked at why having a powerful vision to lose weight is absolutely necessary for success. And that you must have a strong purpose and unwavering faith to reinforce your vision.

But there's more you need to learn if you're going to be successful.

1 - We must confront our habits

What we're up against when we're trying our best to reduce weight are habits. Not just any old habit though. These habits are connected to the very core of our existence—our ability to find enough food for our survival. I'm sure you'll agree, this has gone completely haywire, right?

James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits says, one, decide on the type of person you want to be and two, prove it to yourself with small wins.

2 - Get control of your thoughts now

Thoughts are energy that can shape our lives and our reality. This is a double-edged sword. Positive thoughts create positive outcomes, negative thoughts create negative outcomes. So, obviously the best place to start, when wanting to change our lives, is with our thoughts. If you don't believe it, you'll never achieve it.

3 - Changing your thoughts from negative to positive

Negative thoughts or limiting beliefs can really create havoc when you decide to change any aspect of your life. Every time you want to make a meaningful change, you'll be swamped by these negative thoughts until you shift back to the way the brain thinks you must be. The brain isn't your enemy. It's doing what it's been trained to do. Whatever that might be.
